March In Bray

This month, we embrace fresh starts as Spring approaches, bringing with it the promise of renewal and revitalization. It’s a time to eagerly anticipate the vibrant hues of seasonal ingredients— pinks, reds, and greens — that turn each meal into a delicious masterpiece.

As the days lengthen and the weather grows warmer, it’s an ideal moment to indulge in The Crown, and particularly given our recent news that Scott Smith, Head Chef of The Oarsman in Marlow has taken on the role of overseeing operations across both The Oarsman and The Crown at Bray. Scott is passionate about the delivery of highly executed traditional pub food at The Crown, whilst also threading seasonal ingredients, “nose to tail” cooking, and local suppliers further through out menu.

British Pie Week

We are thrilled to celebrate British Pie Week
with our very own Pork Pie Off on Monday 4th March!

We will be joined by several Chef contestants, who will have their pies judged by a panel lead by Ben Tish of Cubitt House alongside Adam of award-winning Butcher, HG Walter, and Jon of our brilliant local award-winning Brewery, Windsor & Eton Brewery. 

We invite you to join us from 3.30pm – 5.30pm to enjoy the competition, a few bar snacks, and stay for dinner to further immerse yourself in the indulgence of British Pie Week.
